Many people may have already experienced coaching before, focusing on improving performance and approach, unlocking what is already within us, overcoming challenges and goals.
However, ADHD Coaching is more specific as we know traditional methods don’t always work for our squiggly brains. Our approach is focused on being forward looking rather than the here and now and putting the insights, knowledge into practice in a structured way that works for you. It won’t be about “organising your time better” but we will draw on the relevant skills and how you can apply them and help to keep yourself accountable for your goals.
We follow the ADHD Works Executive Coaching Method ™, which looks at areas you may find more challenging or just areas of strength where you want to do more work, for example with memory, emotional regulation, and motivation. Everyone’s ADHD shows up differently so we spend some time to see what that looks like for you and then we can identify and access support you need or just maximise the strengths you already have.
Coaching is not regulated, therefore it's important to me that we undertake the latest in coaching to be on top of new guidance and coaching. All our coaches have completed a rigorous ADHD coaching training programme with ADHD Works and am a Member of the Association for Coaching. We have over 25 years corporate experience helping coach many people to go onto achieve their potential.
For one to one coaching this is offered virtually via a secure Teams meeting. For groups, this can be face to face or on Teams.
The frequency of coaching sessions depends on the individual and their goals. Some clients prefer to meet weekly, while others may meet bi-weekly or monthly.
121 Coaching costs can vary based on the lengths of the sessions and duration of those sessions. We recommend a minimum of six sessions. The cost of these sessions can be supported by Access to Work (www.gov.uk) ), or your employer in some cases, or you may wish to pay for these directly yourself.
We can arrange a 30 min initial consultation which is done free of charge where you can ask us any questions around the coaching and the plan. Contact us for more information.
